Maryam Sodagar

Maryam Sodagar is the founder and principal at Sodagar Nielsen Law Group. She was called to the BC bar in 2006 and the Ontario bar in 2007. Since she began her career, she has successfully represented clients in a broad range of complex family and immigration law matters.  She has appeared before the BC provincial court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.

Maryam’s practice focuses on the complex aspects of family law including multiple jurisdictions. In 2018, she also trained and became licensed as a mediator to better serve her clients. Her immigration practice focuses on economic and entrepreneur immigration including provincial nominees, inter company transferees and skilled immigration. Maryam has a clear and deep understanding of the importance of competent and effective legal counsel and provides the best of that to each and every client.
